KYND Community: plant-based paradise
Posted on November 15 2017
With new spots opening every week in Bali, we're pretty spoiled with cafe hopping every day. But, sometimes a true GEM comes along, and we're in love for life and want to eat here every day. KYND is such a place. It's pink, it's tropical, it's good vibes, and good good good food! KYND Community is a vegan cafe in the midst of buzzing Seminyak. Gosh, we're so happy a healthy spot opened up near us, finally! Don't get us wrong, we LOVE Canggu but it's so nice to drive somewhere close hehe. (And it's right across Motion Fitness so pretty perfect to combine with a morning workout.)
KYND is set up by our friends Lauren and Corryn, two incredibly inspiring island babes. Lauren (better known as LOL, yes, she laughs alot, love you LOL!) is a vegan chef slash change-maker slowly changing the world a step at the time and Corryn is simply a superwoman! Those two combined... can only mean magic.
Last month they organized their first event 'Mindful meetings' with world famous vegan activist James Aspey and the cutest market just outside, such an inspiring day. We added some photos of the day below. Can't wait whats coming next girls!
Anyway, faves on the menu:
- The Berry Tropical smoothiebowl
- The glutenfree gourmet toast, one half with beet hummus and one with smashed avo
- Coconut Piccolo (a iny cappuccino we drink too much coffee so we discovered the piccolo so we still can have many) or a Pink Latte (for the picture, hehe)
- The Greener Grass Smoothie
Get in early! It's super crowded at the moment as everyone wants a taste of it. So our trick is to get here before everyone else does ;) They open at 6am already... we usually meetup for brekkie 7:30. Always hungry anyway.
Give the girls a follow and make sure to let us know if you LOVED it as much as we did!
Where: Jalan Raya Petitenget No 12x Petitenget, Bali
Open: Mon-Sun | 6am-4pm
Brekkies with our bestie Kimmie
A Meeting of the Mindful, first event by KYND!
